Peggy Hembree brings a wealth of experience, organization, and heart to her role as our Accounts Payable lead. With over 25 years at Aetna Insurance, she specialized in resolving escalated claims and training companies across the South on employee benefit packages—earning a reputation for both competence and compassion.

Before her time in insurance, Peggy worked in education for 14 years, supporting school districts in California and Texas. She also spent several years in banking, where she served as both a teller and a loan officer.

Peggy’s professional background is matched only by her energy outside of work. A proud mom, grandma, and former owner of 19 rental properties in Van, Texas, she now juggles travel, family time, and property management—always staying busy, as she says, because “it keeps you young.”

Her attention to detail, warmth with clients, and deep life experience make her an essential part of the Hembree Bell team.
