
Brooke Ward
Associate Attorney
Brooke Ward has been practicing law since 1999, focusing exclusively on family law for the last 10 years. Ms. Ward practices all areas of family law including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, paternity, enforcement, modification, protective orders, termination, and adoption.
Ms. Ward is the Immediate Past President of the Williamson County Bar Association after serving as an elected director since 2017. Ms. Ward is also a current member of the Texas Bar College and the Williamson County American Inn of Court.
Ms. Ward began her legal career working for the international law firm Winston & Strawn LLP on business-related litigation throughout the country from the firm’s Chicago and San Francisco offices. In 2010, Ms. Ward moved to the Austin area to work for Hohmann, Taube & Summers, LLP, where she began practicing family litigation.
Ms. Ward received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1999 and two Bachelors of Arts from the University of Michigan in 1996.
During law school, Ms. Ward served as a Notes Editor for the Hastings Law Journal, teaching assistant, and judicial extern for the Honorable Maxine M. Chesney, Northern District of California.
Ms. Ward discovered her passion for family law after experiencing the impact of being able to assist clients during this tumultuous transitional period. Having been through her own protracted divorce and learning how to navigate this new terrain, she is deeply invested in helping to empower her clients.
