Mary began her legal career in 2019 as a litigation Paralegal, bringing with her a background rooted in service and advocacy. Before entering the legal field, Mary volunteered as a Legal Advocate at SAFE, where she witnessed firsthand the emotional weight that family conflict can place on individuals and families — an experience that drew her to family law and continues to shape the compassion she brings to her work every day.

Mary is dedicated, resourceful, empathetic, and client-focused. Her unique path into the law — rooted in service, advocacy, and a genuine desire to help people through difficult seasons — makes her an invaluable member of our team and a trusted resource for our clients. Mary understands that family law matters are rarely just legal matters. She is committed to providing both practical and emotional support to each client, ensuring they feel informed, heard, and cared for throughout the process.

Mary was born in North Carolina and currently resides in the Dallas area with her husband James and their dog, Bishop. When she’s not in the office, you can find her exploring new hiking trails, traveling, cooking, or working on her latest sewing project. Mary received her Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University and her Paralegal Certificate from The University of Texas. She became NALA Certified in 2021.
