Kathy Dominguez

Senior Paralegal

Kathy began her legal career in 2008 in workers' compensation before finding her place in family law in 2012. Along the way, she also gained experience in criminal law and probate. She's always had a passion for the legal field, but her own experience navigating the family court system helped shape the direction of her career. After working with a wonderful legal team and experiencing firsthand the difference good representation can make, she was inspired to help others facing similar challenges. In 2019, Kathy became a Board Certified Paralegal in Family Law through the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Houston. Having been on the other side of the legal process, Kathy knows that family law matters are more than just cases, they involve real people, real families, and often some of life's most difficult moments. She enjoys working through complex issues, finding practical solutions, and helping clients feel heard, informed, and supported along the way. Her love for the legal profession hasn't stopped growing. Kathy hopes to attend law school and eventually become an attorney, continuing her journey in a field she's passionate about.

When she's not working, Kathy loves traveling with her husband, exploring new places, and discovering the history behind them. Whether it's visiting historical sites or stumbling upon a little piece of history somewhere unexpected, she's always up for an adventure. Originally from California, Kathy now proudly calls Texas home.
