Caridad (Cari) Montemayor

Associate Attorney

Cari earned her B.S. in Political Science from Texas Christian University (go Frogs!) and her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

From an early age, she was drawn to understanding how people connect, communicate and navigate conflict. Her interest in family law grew from her genuine curiosity about relationships and her natural tendency toward helping, mediating, advocating, and problem-solving. Her approach to family law is grounded in respect, preparation, and compassion. She believes legal advocacy and human connection are not mutually exclusive and is committed to supporting clients with both empathy and practical guidance. Her priority is to help clients feel supported, prepared, and understood throughout the process.

Outside of work, Cari can be found spending time with her loved ones, catching up on all reality TV and pop culture, or diving into her next DIY project. She is a mom of three: two dogs, Tiger and Benji, and a princess cat named Stella.
